We are in the middle of a pandemic as COVID-19 has claimed the lives of more than two hundred thousand people all over the world. In fact, a thousand people die per day in the United States. Nobody expected this to come but it is already here so we may as well accept it and nobody knows when a vaccine will be developed. Nobody likes wearing a face mask but as pharmacists, life goes on so you must read pharmacy books regarding the safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. There are a lot of things that you must not do like being too close to people you don’t really know. Due to some people being asymptomatic, we don’t really know who has the virus. A simple cough or sneeze can transform the virus from one person to another. You can’t really blame other people for wanting to stay away from you as social distancing is highly encouraged. It is standing or sitting six feet away from the next person. In fact, the world health organization has advised everyone to stay at home if you are not really going to do anything essential. If it is not important, you are going to do your part in helping to prevent the virus when you just stay at home and not go out anymore.
Pharmacy books will teach you how to properly wear a face mask and why it is not safe to touch your face. Even the right process of washing your hands is stated there as you can’t really risk the short version. It would be better to do it the long way so that you will be able to cover all sides of your hands. Being in public places would be a big no-no especially when it is not that important. All Pharmacy books deserve to be read from cover to cover especially the ones that were made by Euromed Guide. There is no doubt you are going to learn a lot of things there that you were not able to learn when you were in high school. The Pharmacy books will also tackle the new normal that we will need to get used to for the time being. It would feel terrible to get used to it but you would need to especially when you really have no choice. In fact, there are some pharmacists who would read those books twice or even thrice. While it is true that those who have a strong immune system will get barely affected by the virus, those who have an existing condition would not want to think twice about going out. This is the best time to exercise regularly and avoid eating unhealthy food. Yes,eating fruits and veggies would make your immune system stronger so you may have the virus but you will hardly notice it and that is fine as long as you have what it takes to get rid of it. If you think you have it, better quarantine yourself for two weeks.
